The Zoo

Everywhere in Burgers' Dierenpark special meetings with animals are possible, such as with the large gorilla family on their wooded island or the panthers in their jungle. The world renowned chimpansee colony (of over 20 animals!) can be seen from observation-posts. Also the elephants, pygmy hippopotami, bongo antilopes and forest raindeer are absolutely worth a visit. If you take a little time at the warthogs and meerkats you will quickly understand why these animals are considered favourites of many visitors. You don't just meet penguins or flamingos at Burgers' Dierenpark, but also impressive predators and colourful songbirds will surprise you during your walk through the park.
